DOWN-to-earth Melbourne model Elyse Knowles has become an official Myer ambassador, following in the fashionable footsteps of her idol Jennifer Hawkins.
The question now is whether she will fill the coveted shoes of Hawkins as the face of the department store when her contract expires later this year.
Like Hawkins, who has been the face of Myer for 12 years, Knowles is beautiful, blonde and has a genuine girl-next-door charm that resonates with the Myer customer.
But Knowles, who will be joined by ex-AFL star Josh Gibson as a new ambassador, says she’s just excited to work with Hawkins.
“Jen has always inspired me, she’s such a beautiful girl and she’s achieved amazing things in her career. She’s a businesswoman, she’s forward thinking, and she’s been amazing for Myer. I’m just excited to work alongside her for the next couple of months through the parades,” Knowles said.
The 25-year-old says signing with Myer is a dream come true after working for the brand over the past few months in fashion and beauty campaigns.
