GIRL power is hoping to win out on Saturday, with star filly Catchy taking on the boys in the $2 million Ladbrokes Caulfield Guineas.

The Block star Elyse Knowles caught up with the three-year-old filly ahead of the big race at Caulfield to share some of her winning tips from the top rating show.

“She’s the only girl in the race so I say go girl power all the way,” she says.

Knowles and partner Josh Barker are leading the race in the final episodes of The Block.

“Hopefully my winning powers will rub of on her and her winning powers will drop on me for auction day,” she said.

Catchy, who captured Victoria’s prestigious Blue Diamond as a two-year-old, has amassed over $1.2 million in career earnings and has won five from eight starts.

She’s got her work cut out for her. The last filly to win the Guineas was Surround in 1977. FULL ARTICLE HERE
