ELYSE Knowles is swapping “renos” for the runway next month, taking to the catwalk for department store Myer.
Knowles said she was excited to join fashionable forces with the retail giant for its inaugural Style Series runways, as part of the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival, which kicks off in Melbourne on March 1.
Knowles will take to the runway at Myer Melbourne on Friday, March 9, alongside Kris Smith.
She will also star in Myer’s AW18 fashion social campaign.
“It’s always been a dream to work alongside Myer,” Knowles said.
“I haven’t done a lot of runway before. There’s nothing like dusting off the cobwebs with a dream client,” she said.
Knowles, who has more than 865,000 followers on social media, said the catwalks would showcase capsule collections by the department store’s stable of designers, including Alex Perry, Acler and Asilio.
The runway shows would also highlight autumn winter trends, including lace, pops of colour and dramatic prints.
Since winning the last season of The Block with partner Josh Barker, Knowles is remaining tight- lipped on what the pair’s next makeover mission might be.
The pair sold their privately renovated Coburg home in November.
“Let’s just say I’m happy to take anything on board,” she said.
