HERLAD SUN

Model Elyse Knowles loves having a “mum body” and won’t be pressured into slimming down.

“To be honest, I really don’t care,” Knowles told the Herald Sun about returning to model size after giving birth to her son, Sunny.

“This is me, this is my mum body now. I’m completely confident, happy and relaxed. I don’t have time to worry about that stuff anymore. That’s in the past, and now all I’m focused on is keeping Sunny happy.”

Knowles and her partner Josh Barker welcomed Sunny in February.

“He’s living up to his name; positive, happy and shiny,” Knowles said. “He wakes up smiling, even at 4.30 in the morning, and he’s ready to go for the day.”

Meanwhile, Knowles has joined with the Australian Made campaign for the launch of the first-ever Australian Made Week on May 24.

“It’s been a tough few years of floods, fires, coronavirus and everything else in between, so there’s no better time to support our own,” she said.
